I've got a worried feeling that John and Stephen - not to mention Louise - will struggle without the beautiful gorgeuos and sexy threesome Sad Sarah, Shereen and Jane are completely irreplaceable! I've been watching ST ever since I was 7, so come next year - I'll have been watching ST (if I still am) for 20yrs!

I was gutted to hear that Jane in particular was leaving! Crying or Very sad She's the best Sportcaster ever, and I'll miss her dearly Sad I will also miss Shereen very much. I wish all three the very best for the future.

P.S Thanks for the help in requests - I'm gonnae get a letter sent off the morra, as I reckon Jane made a few hints that she may be leaving before Shereen. Crying or Very sad

I wonder if we'll start to get trickles of what will happen to Shereen and Jane?

As sad as this may sound, that article almost brought a tear to my eye. Once again, she comes across as a truly genuine, decent person with Scottish wit and charm. As has been said so, so many times on this forum, she'll be missed greatly. I don't think I'm wrong in saying that she's become Scotland's best known and best loved TV news presenter.

Shereen is a true Scottish TV legend by far. Laughing I'm also sure that Jane (I'll never get over that announcment of her departure Shocked ) will also have made STV history by being the very first female Sportcaster. Very Happy

Hell I seriously will miss my on-screen namesake! Crying or Very sad

What's worse? I'm in Fife, and I might not see her on screen again Sad

I couldn't have put it better myself, smgboi. Hit the nail right on the head.

You know what - it would be nice if STV could make an effort on Shereen's last day, to bring in some faces from the past to give her a wonderful send off?? I hope they take the initiative and ask Viv Lumsden, Angus Simpson and perhaps Delahunt, White and other notables to come into the studio.

I foresee many tears around the nation at teatime that night............

.....in a strange kind of way, something is dying - it's the end of an era for many.

I agree that they should bring someone from the past in for a day, as a special thank you and tribute to "Her Ladyship" Shereen! Shereen is the Queen of ST , and I dont think anyone could replace her either. Sad

Angus and Viv maybe ideal to see her final bulletin out, as well as Kirsty Young. The only thing with Kirsty is, I don't think she kens about the crisis at her old stomping ground and also I don't think she'll be back from maternity leave in time Sad

P.S anyone know if Jane is likely to leave BEFORE or AFTER Shereen? Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
