*all appropraite*...I think big things are coming up for Jane and Shereen. Of course it is widely rumored both are heading to Sky News for a sky news scotland but im hearing BBC Scotland may be pinching one or two presenters or reporters in the smg "clearout"...

Shereen would be an excellent and welcome replacement for Jackie Bird. She has been with RS for too long now and the whole thing is in need of a change. Time to get rid of DR too. Sally Magnusson is very good though. Is she still on the programme?
Two male presenters used to be quite a regular thing on Scotland Today during the late 80's and early 90's. Combinations used to regularly include Angus Simpson, Mark Smith, Geoff Brown (RIP), Alan Fisher (now at GMTV?), Stephen Jardine and, rarely though, Jim Delahunt as an emergency presenter.

Yep, occasionally she'll even do the Daily Politics then make a mad dash to Glasgow for Reporting Scotland.
How about using Anne, Shereen and Sally as the main news presenters of a main BBC Scotland programme; they'd all bring glamour and gravitas. I think they'd be a ratings winner and gub the others in the process!

Anne MacKenzie always comes across as a kind of superior being in all aspects. I think, far more than Jackie Bird or anyone else at BBCS, Anne is their best journalistic asset and flexible enough to anchor any output. She is a kind of cross between Mary Marquis and Kirsty Wark, if you know what I mean.
She would be perfectly fine on RS.

You're just a wee scamp BBC World - he he.
I am not sure about Anne being a superior being though. She is far from perfect. Although, she sometimes can come across as being aloof and she is not really..she's just very plain and grounded.
Regardless of whatever happens in the future of Scottish news..I just want it to be the best it can be
