Sorry, I wasn't meaning the rumours about Jackie. I agree she's professional but I just meant I think John and Heather work better together, Heather seems really well suited to the job. John and her seem to get on well and I think it comes across - they've got authority when they need it and are fun with the lighter stuff. I certainly agree about David!
I think anyone who works with John is great, although to be honest with you all, I just can't stand Stephen! They are still really taking the mickey out of Reporting Scotland, whenever Heather is in the studio for the weather.
They're not very good at all. It's as if they felt they had to replace the ridiculous, outdated and pointless fly-through but didn't have the money to do it. Or more specifically, wanted to crowbar their logo with the website on but couldn't do it with the old graphics.
Either way they look awful, like they've been drawn by kids. What are the sponsors paying for - the crayons?

I have to disagree with you. I like them. They are nice and fresh and tie in with everything else now.
The weather (with Heather!) seems a bit random at times - there's a flythrough one day then rainfall the next. Good to see Heather back this week on Scotland Today - she adds a bit of something!-) The news does seem to be going from strength to strength. A lot sharper than before. Much better format with John as the main anchor and Heather as well. Is it my imagination or is the news agenda better as well?
Oh sorry, I hadn't realised it was split that way. I prefer Heather on with John though I think they have better chat and more warmth. Anyway, whatever - it's a great programme!
