TH=he RS titles are totaly stuck in the LN era, and the set is atrocious. I find it hard to belive that NL and WT have newish sets, and scotland is stuck with that set.

Believe it or not ... it is a newish set. They've only had it two years. The original 1999 was much nicer.

Phew! Rolling Eyes Thanks for that Christine. I was a bit bewildered by the fact that when they left, what would have become of all their clothes Confused . Surprisingly enough though, I don't think anyone's ever asked the question on here before eh? Laughing

You are just a girl like me - clothes, clothes and eh clothes Wink

I see stv have sorted ST out. Louise is now doing the Lunchtime bulletin, with John still anchoring the 6 o'clock bulletin. It makes more sense, instead of John getting the two main programmes.
Louise is more welcoming on the daytime news, as John is better with the serious, main news at 6.
I just hope this is permanent, with Stephen filling in for John when he's off, and Heather filling for Louise.

Very Happy 600th POST!!! Very Happy

Congrads also. Are there any plans for a revamped RS? Scotland is one of the few regions where most perople watch the c3 franchise news programme, and I think it is just b/c it looks appaling, worse than RTE's set.

Well ST had the upper hand on coverage on the Tommy Sheridan libel case in my opinion this evening, the RS coverage - although david and louise were ''lounging'' in the courtroom where the trial took place, it was dyer. ST managed to give ample coverage interviewing SSP party members and had all viewpoints in the story. I think its on stories like this where the 1 presenter format works best - that combined with johns banter and personality made ST the real winner - wonder who won the ratings battle - we shall soon see!
