They still have a lot of work to do, as it is currently BBC Reporting Scotland 55% audience share, SMG 45%.

Does that include North Tonight and Lookaround?

North Tonight and Scotland Today.

Well, Lookaround broadcasts in part of Scotland as well.

Not really surprised at these figures John.
Where did you get that from and when are the stats from?

I know this may be nit-picking, but does anyone else think they should have a clock on the bulletins during GMTV?

What does drules mean?

I think they should bring back Haig Gordon and John Toye. (Or Shereen......)

Oh, I see. Don't think I ever did that as a kid.

Wondering why the new stv and Scotland Today website is partially written in Latin. If you go onto the news section ot www.stv.tv and then go into the RSS section to subscribe to the live feed, the text is in latin.

Web creators use Latin text to see how the fit and feel of the page looks, before adding the actual real text. However, it is all normally done before going live into the public domain.

Trust stv to have pushed the wrong button and thrown the Latin onto the www.

(For the record, I have asked my local Latin expert to translate, and it roughly translates as: Shereenius Nanjianius will no come backius......in the steadius we shall havius only this Stephen Jardinanius nomere adre spirito sancto ....)

What does drules mean?

James,

Drules is another way of saying rubbish or nonsense plus two other ways - one beginning with s and the other beginning with c (can't put them in full for obvious reasons). Hope this helps. Wink

Thank god, Heather hasn't been pushed aside. She is now having her shot in the new studio. Very Happy

She did the weather too, giving John an opportunity for a cheeky, fun dig at BBC Scotland, referring to her twice as "Heather with the weather".

Raised a grin here Smile
