I've just had a though - Shereen was very good friends with Paul McKinney (former head of news at STV) and the Sunday Herald recently revealed that Paul has accepted a very senior role at Al Jazeera. Do you think we could see Shereen moving to the new AJI? It would be amazing to see her on such a huge platform!

Sorry Chris. Been busy for the last few weeks and my visits to the forum have been limited as a consequence. Thanks for the email addresses - but was too late. As it stands, I did not manage to see one milliseconds of Shereen's departure. If anyone has a clip they can post, I'd be mightily grateful.
Funnily enough, there was a request on one of the Dubai radio stations last Thursday evening. Two soul songs, "dedicated to my dear friend, Shereen Nanjiani....". It was surreal. Maybe she IS here after all!!
As for the "new look", the only things missing IMO, are John Toye and Marion White. Because, THAT'S just how dated the "new" look appears to me.
Alas........SMG and STV have long since lost direction.
Just watched the Bank Holiday edition.......the announcer said its Noth Tonight but the titles say North Today. The plasma says North Tonight though. You would think it would be easy enough to play the correct titles....this has happened alot since they took the today name!!
Well, in the weather update at 10.55, they still used the old, sh*tty ones. So, I guess we won't have any new ones yet. Maybe when, and if Scotland Today gets a new look when it moves to PQ there may be some change.
Very ineteresting desk.Rather futuristic. IF TRUE and is a nod to the new ST studio I like the incorporation of the logo and the modern and sheek stylishness of the set. The one thing I do not like is the ratehr odd pillar combo and the persistance of ST with bright orange/red (in the sofas). Why when just plain purple and blue looks so much better?
Mmmm..not sure about this one. Would they stand at that desk thing or would they just sit on the tangoed sofa.
