If there is going to be a new studio set for ST - it had better be a damsight better than the one they've got now!

I would personally like Scotland Today to use the ITV regional set, and graphics design, but with blue instead of teal.
And with a desk, instead of the little coffee table.

It's more than likely that there will be a new set, which will be a round desk with two different backgrounds depending on which angle the camera is pointed at it. One angle will show you a window overlooking the armadillo. The other will have the newsroom in the background.

Bring back Orla Heron from Sky! She and John could be the new Shereen and john on the evening news!

IMO Scotland Today can not pull off two male presenters! Esp not Srephen Jardine as one of them.

He should have took his redundency and go back to GMTV!

I can't agree with you there. Orla was great, but she's probably never going to return.
I really like Heather Simpson. She is a warm, friendly person, as is Louise.
I agree slightly about Stephen. He is better on his own. the lunchtime bulletin for example.
And, is it me, or is John becoming depressed? I think he misses Shereen.

I thought this might happen. I think John is getting depressed - I've kind of seen a change in him lately, and I don't think it's just Shereen he's missing.

Poor John.

Stephen is too "in-your-face" to be presenting ST , he should stick to either political prog presenteing outside ST or return to GMTV . Know what I mean?

Can somebody get a caps of the titles for Scotland Today? Cheers!

Had a massive laugh when Scottish Tv's MD Bobby Hain said "that they were changing the name to STV because thats what everyone called them anyway" EHHH NOT IN GRAMPIAN LAND THEY DONT BOBBY and he should know that because he comes from that region!!!!!!!!!!

Don't like it..the TVF mocks are much better!!
