But a source from inside SMG has told me she's making a showreel so I reckon it won't be long before she's back on tv


God..I really hope you are right.
I cannot imagine news in Scotland without Shereen. Never mind the break up of a boyband..Shereen's departure is far more traumatic.

There may be an idea on where Jane is likely to be next season, although it's just a rumour. Confused I've sent an email to someone who a know from ebay, who just might be able to shed some light on it - although no promises. Embarassed

It's rumoured that Jane has signed up to Celtic TV. Shocked I'll wait till he gets back to me and if there's anything in it - I'll let you all know. Sad

Sarah when she comes back from maternity leave, I've heard is thinking about becoming a writer Cool (like John, although he's an author Wink ).

Shereen - well I thought she might want to travel the world Very Happy , with the time she's now got on her hands. Cool

I can see why someone who is Grampian through and through may not feel the same impact as someone who is an avid Scottish TV viewer like Laura; however, I agree that we should keep things in context.
While I am sad that Shereen is leaving, I do not think that her departure is more important than the loss of the Scottish and Grampian identities.
Barney, you would have to admit that all that comes out of the SMG press office is doom and gloom.
Many people are very concerned at the state of broadcasting in Scotland. The face of a channel, indeed a stalwart , is yet another nail in the coffin. That is all and nothing more. Wink
