I feel sick.
Moira Stuart, Anna Ford and Shereen Nanjiani all leaving their jobs within a few weeks of each other. It's all too much for me to take now.

But two very short bulletins per week, and one day per week is frightfully close to nothing at all!! The lady is amazing. Oh........what to do!!

I must admit I felt seriously ill when Jane left, and still feel sick now - even after she's gone.
Mind you, if I'm feeling this way - god knows how I'll feel when Shereen goes.

John is coping really well at the moment isn't he? Although off-air, I'm sure it's quite the opposite.

I forgot to metion this last night, but Scotland Today were have a bit of trouble during the News at 10.30.
James Mates handed to the regions, and we got the ITV News bumper for about 30 seconds-1 minute.
Then, at the end of the bulletin Heather Simpson said her goodbyes', and we could still see her, but could hear James for about 10 seconds. She was just about to leave the studio, then she must have looked at a monitor and noticed she was still in vision, so just looked at her script. Poor Heather.
London Tonight was fine, so I take it only ST had a fault or two.

Jane left on Monday, and her profile still hasn't been taken off the website!
Anyone else noticed that?
I think it's because if they did take it off, it might make them look bad or maybe it's because they can't be bothered? On the other hand though, they might not want to take it off yet, because they like the look of Jane so much.
I don't blame them if that's the case.

How are you bearing up, as Friday 5th looms............?

Evening James! I'm really down at the moment, just been told that my gran's literally on her deathbed, and it's looking as though I'll have to take FRIDAY off work to go down and say goodbye.
Friday IS the 5th, so when a say goodbye to one person - I'll miss the farewell to a legend.
I would burn ST to DVD, so that I could watch it when I feel up to it, but my DVD/VCR combo is knacked.
Although, I'm sure you lot will update me when I log-on after Shereen's Testimonial eh (not sure if that'll be the Friday night or maybe sometime during the weekend)?
How's everyone else?

Sadly I missed most of the bulletin, and only caught the last part of the sportsdesk.
However, good news! I will be able to see Shereen's last bulletin after all, going to see my gran tomorrow.

Well the time is nearly here folks for Oor Wee Shereen to leave our screens (and I think for good!!)
What is your favourite memory of Shereen at Scotland Today?
I always remember her when she was interviewing Malcolm Rifkind during the mid nineties. This wee quiet lassie packed one hell of a punch by keeping the blithering man from skirting around the Rosyth job losses. She grilled him good and proper!!
I also love her banter with John Mackay..as she was always very serious with Viv Lumsden and even Angus Simpson.
My favourite Scottish TV moment would have to be when Scotsport nearly caught her in a Celtic player's house in the late eighties (and I cannot for the life of me remember his name - I think he was Bulgarian? )
All the best Shereen...you'll ALWAYS be THE face of Scotland Today for me!!
