STA has a point though, but hopefully with a bit of time she'll improve and maybe - just maybe SMG bosses will want her on-air in the studio as a possible replacement for Sarah ( remember that SMG bosses didn't want her to leave, she wasn't on their "hit list" .)

After SMG's redundancy plans were announced, I read on allmediascotland.com that SMG had previously prepared a list of preffered newsroom staff that they themselves wanted "rid" of.

One example of knowing that there was a "hit list" was when Sarah opted for voluntary redundancy and bosses begged her not to leave. The only con is we never found out who else was on the list. I doubt that Shereen and Jane would have been on it though.

Louise White is filling in for Stephen tomorrow on Sunday Live. I've never seen her doing anything like this before. Should be interesting.

A wee reminder that this week is Jane's testimonial folks. She leaves a week today - that's the 24th April after what will maybe be a memorable 7 years at Cowcaddens Crying or Very sad

Mind you, I do wonder if she'll prefer to take her final week on hols Confused OR whether she'll return on screen, telling Raman to move over (putting it politely) Cool - proving just who really is No.1 on the Sportsdesk. Wink

We'll find out tomorrow! Tune in at 6pm to find out. - hopefully she will be back on-screen. Confused

I'm fine thanks Garry - how are you? Laughing Debi was quite good actually over easter Cool , but you can also imagine the pressure on her - if bosses want her to take on a presenting job. Confused If that does happen, I think she'd be best suited along with Louise. What do u think?

I actually think Debi is more suited to morning bulletins and the weekend, on her own.

She's ok like that. I suppose it might be best to stick to that way for now, and then take it from there.

Next you'll be telling us that Shereen was late for the programme because she fell and ripped her Lucy Hockings, and then had to go on alongside Stephen Jardine, (who's a bit of a Martin Brunt).......etc etc
