Yup, I agree FG. Shereen is the darling of ST, that's for sure and she does indeed connect with the viewers.In fact, make that the jewel in the crown of ST.

This week, she's been on-air with Louise and Raman.

Anyone got their predictions for next weeks line-up?

John, Jane and Stephen maybe?

I know they are both going, but I will really miss Shereen and Jane.
Shereen gets on really well with John on camera, and she just lights up the studio, sometimes she stumbles, but that's kind of her trademark now.
And Jane, well she is really professional.
I like Louise and John, and think they could possibly make a great double act. I like Stephen as well, but he's better on his own.
Good luck to both Shereen and Jane, whatever they move on to do. We'll all miss you...especially the scary Jane Lewis Fan.

You took the words right out of my mouth Garry! Awwww Yup, I kinda noticed that Raman does indeed shuffle his scripts a lot - possibily due to nerves?

Shereen's "stumbling" has kinda become a trademark indeed - but it's a natural thing and we all like her for it.

I have seen her anchoring countless major stories over the years. Lockerbie. Dunblane. Scottish Parliament inauguration. Closure of Ravenscraig - then the largest employer in Scotland.

I will never forget her breaking into evening schedules on ITV several years ago. Rather than going to ITN and Sandy Gall for the newsflash that announced the Lockerbie disaster back in 1988, STV elected to go to Shereen in Glasgow. She then appeared at regular intervals up to and beyond midnight, to bring the latest developments.

Will never forget it......

the thing is with shereen she is universally known she has covered the big stories with gusto and pessaz....and everyone loves the banter shared between her john and jane and now that shereen and jane are leaving thats going to be all lost.

It sure is STA., which in turn will be a big loss to the show itself. Did anyone notice that the banter between Shereen,Louise and Raman isn't as good as when Shereen's got John and Jane with her?

I strongly disagree about Louise. She is a fantasic newsreader, she never stumbles. She smiles, and never looks bored.
I agree about Raman though.

That's a bit harsh. He isn't THAT bad.

I like him actually.

The banter between these three will be sorely missed for sure.
