Probably not, Laura, as I can only imagine Shereen being nothing less than gracious off air too. (LOL).
They will probably make him buy the cinnamon rolls from Starbucks this morning by way of recompense!!

It was Lee McConnel and he seemed to handle the banter afterwards with shereen well when she said "ah you nearly forgot about her there".
Shereen handled that v well....not sure if John would've done the same

Is there anyone starting to lose any interest in ST when John and Jane haven't been on air for a while? 
I suspect that SMG bosses may have had last minute second thoughts
, and are trying to persuade Jane to stay 
.
They must have looked back at that particular Friday tape, where Jane is in an Edinburgh bar with Hibs fans
for the look ahead to the Tennents Scottish Cup Final (Hearts v Hibs) or that time when both her and John were surrounded by Celtic fans in Seville for the UEFA Cup final between FC Porto v Celtic.

Just imagine how awful the programme would be if both shereen and john left.a whole half hour with louise and stephen plus blubbering from raman! Nooooo!

It would be a complete disaster, and I think if that happenned - people would just turn off altogether!
