I know certainly that my Gran picks up both the Craigkelly and Blackhill signals on her Freeview box. Both are perfect, so I suspect that it will be quite hard for some people to retune everything to Craigkelly.

It will also cause a problem with some of the relay stations as well - Haddington for instance is fed by Black Hill while Aberfyole is a repeater of Craigkelly, so Haddington might end up getting the West version with Aberfoyle the East one.

There are also whispers that Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders will also get the respective editions of Scotland Today. Don't know how true (if at all) this is.

Back in 1997, There were talks of STV and Grampian having an Scottish News at Ten bullitin to take over the then slot from Trevor McDonald in the rest of Britian. I never heard any more about it since
