I'm getting really fed up with the pelican habit - Can news-people please return to desks please.

They look so uncomfortable.

For a moment, I thought this topic was going to be about something else entirely.

Edit: Oh, you've changed it.

The South Today chairs are very nice, from MFI Southampton I belive. (Was looking for a new PC desk and saw an "As featured on BBC South Today sign" on a set of silver chiars, I tried one of couse, rather nice but nothing to lean back on.

I got similar stools that News24 use in my Kitchen, they came with the flat.
They are handy for getting up to change lightbulbs, just not to sit on!

i don't like those emt stools, the set looks evenmore squashed since its revamp they have a huge studio and make no use of it, bit like the old NWt studio now fitted with sofa and newsdesk!
EMT is rubbish i watch midlands today with nick and suzanne.
look easts a bit strange too the chairs are rather low

News is more Authoritative from behind a desk - whatever shape it is.

Just because it's from behind an ironing board doesn't make it less authorative.
