Sorry for the way im guna say this, but shot the Fu*ker that shot the man, I had a feeling at the beginning he would most likely have nothing to do with it, so the police that shot him deserve to die.

I find it amazing that you're apologising for the way you're saying that, but not for what you're saying, which is possibly the most worrying statement I have ever read on this Forum because I think that perhaps you really believe what you've written. I am very glad you're a long way away from this country. Please stay there.

And now a reminder that this forum is about news presentation, not a discussion on the news issues of the day.

I'll see you in two years marksi, oh no wait! im going there in september for a month! so ill see you all then Smile

Don't forget to tell the policeman at the airport about your views on this incident on your arrival into the UK, using the language you have here - they'll be more relevant and useful at that point than they are here.

Thank you, I'll try to remember that. But I have rights so they cant do anything.

I've never heard so much bloody tripe in all my life.

The man was asked to stop by Police on numerous occasions. He failed to stop, and decided to run into an Underground Station, before jumping over a ticket barrier, and then tried to board a train full of people.

Even if he didn't know any English - if you were being chased by armed Police you would stop. The bloke could have had a bomb in his bag or explosives wrapped around him ready to kill or injure hundreds of innocent people.

Police had no choice but to shoot him dead - if he was shot in the leg he could have still set off any device that he had on him.

The **** deserved to die for not stopping. End of.

Plain clothed police dumb arse

Plain clothed Police that shouted "Police, Stop!" SEVERAL TIMES. Dumb arse.

Oh right, like Police is not internationally recognised.

In French: Police
In German: Polizei
In Italian: Polizia
In Portugese: Polícias
In Spanish: Policía

Even if he was a disabled invalid, he could understand the word Police. I find it very hard to beleive that he didn't understand English anyway, he was in London in the first place. He knew of the bombings on both the 7th and 21st of July, he knew Police were around and aware of suspicious people. I'm so glad he was shot if it meant preventing many un-necessary deaths. Travelling on the tube everyday is now a nerve-racking experience, and I'm pleased Police are acting in such a way to protect us all.

Ohhh yes and they're all pronounced in exaclty the same way? NO

and yes it was good to find out someone was shot, but to find out there were no connections! then thats just wrong.

I am glad that the Metropolitan Police are operating ZERO TOLERANCE in London and I hope it gives out the correct message that the Police are doing a great job for OUR safety.

If the person who was shot was unable to speak English what on earth was he doing in London?

Seeing as his family have already given their opinion to BBC News - IN ENGLISH - I think we can rule out the fact that he couldn't speak English anyway. So enough of this stupid talk about the Police being in the wrong. They were protecting our country from the threat of terrorism. So they got it wrong. So what? At least they are there and are acting in the best interest of our country - and about time too. I'm sick of all the political correctness of our laws. This country needs to look after itself first, and worry about others later.

Totally agree.
One thing I don't understand is that the family's English was fairly good which would suggest that the dead man would've also been able to speak and understand English aswell; So where did the information come from that he was unable to understand English? Was this mis-information leaked from the Police???
