I didn't think they had ccess to those cameras?
TfL often take the cameras down on advice of police etc ... so maybe the feed went down. N24 certainly running old pics rather than live ones.

Sky don't seem to have sent the helicopter up for the coverage today, for some reason. They very briefly took TfL camera pictures but nothing since; bit odd.

Eyewitnesses say plained clothed police shot dead a suspected suicide bomber at Stockwell Underground Station. An incident also developing outside a mosque in East London, where two 'suspect' packages have been discovered.
Phil Hayton asked the most ridiculous question earlier, "do you think they killed him"? Well, what else do you expect to happen if 5 bullets go into you?
All in all, another chilling reminder of how much our country is at risk. I'm that impressed with News 24's coverage - Phil Hayton just can't cope with big news stories like this. Mind you, Carrie Gracie isn't the best either - get Louise and Julian in!

The Sky debate is fascinating actually.
"Tony Blair is an extremist who must be rooted out''.
''I'd put the suicide bombers on 7th July in the same category as Tony Blair''
I hope this isn't a representative cross-section of Britain's Muslim community!

Johnnyboy will agree with anything that has no evidence to support it.
Five are taking the TfL cameras, but not sure if they're live pictures. They're doing quite well, actually. To be fair, they don't really show anything at all, just cars not moving.
News 24 had possibly the most pointless live shot of ''Stockwell'' I think I've seen. It was a high-vantage-point camera, that just picked out the skyline of the area, and nothing else, from about four miles away.

The ITV News Channel was first to break this news just after five past ten this morning. Instantly Alastair cut into a live interview with someone outside Warren Street(i think!) to break the news that firstly Kennington station has had a security alert. Instantly as that was breaking ITVNC showed live traffic cameras from the affected areas. BUT as soon as they mentioned Kennington that alert had moved to Stockwell and Vauxhall. As the alerts were changing so were the traffic cameras and ITVNC were the only channel following this breaking news. Luckily quite a few ITV/ITN correspondants were still on their way to work and they spoke to Angus Walker and others within minutes of the security alerts. SKY¦News were busy promoting/talking about the muslim debate and BBC had talknig heads in the studio talking about yesterday's events. BBC News 24 did mention it around 10:15 as did SKY¦News who mentioned it in passing hoping that it wasn't going to be a big story so they could continue with their planned debate programme.
Alastair Stewart has been great on ITV NC and really should've got the ITV News at Ten job.
I'm not sure if there has been an embargo on showing live pictures from the scene today(possibly at the police's request) but ALL news channels are not showing any live footage from the scene. Both BBC and ITV are showing earlier footage from the traffic cameras and if I see that Post Office van turn that corner again i'll go mad! SKY¦News just seem to be showing maps with a reporter at Scotland Yard.
Just after 12:00 both BBC and ITV seem to have live cameras from Stockwell wereas SKY¦News are still showing latest video' footage.
Is there something else going on that the news channels aren't allowed to show? Were they informed that there could be a possible shooting?

There's plenty of evidence to support the fact that we were lied into war and plenty of people who believe you are naive on the subject - (59% of Britons believe Tony Blair lied).
Pity you don't have the ability to critically analyse it.
