Steve Jobs is dead

Looks like Steve Jobs, one of the innovators of Apple has finally passed on.

I hate for this thread to turn into the usual "R.I.P" thread, but I was just taken aback when I heard the news about his sad passing. I think it's one of those things that people are half expecting ( him resigning in this case) but is still shocking nethertheless when you hear the news. Of course like anyone well known, I never knew him, but you can't help but feel sad when someone that has had such an impact on technology and therefore on people’s every day lives and someone who seemingly had such great charisma, intelligence and just the general feeling of being an all round nice guy leave this earth.

Whilst it's sad news, discussion on the matter, and the man, is perhaps better suited to Metropol.
