It has to be said he has a good job, presenting a few shifts on News 24 and going around exotic and wonderful locations for Click Online, it's a shame to hear that he is allegedilly an arrogant sod though in real life.

I like to think of Stephen as being the Kay Burley of BBC News. These stories of his arrogance only add to my attraction to him.

I know this has already been said, but these silly rumours which seem to be flying around this site about Mr Cole are ridiculous. Would these jealous children who are creating these silly stories please stop; just because Stephen refuses to talk to you doesn't make him 'arrogant.' As for the title of this thread, good on Stephen if he is appearing more on News 24. He is an authorative figure at the BBC's World Service and I only hope he gets more and more air time on News 24, as he is an absolutely fantastic choice of presenter. Stephen's career is on the up again, and he thoroughly deserves it, with his hard work and dedication to programmes such as click online. He is a suitable choice of presenter with his wit and will likely win over an audience (except a minority of tvforum members who think of him as arrogant) so I really only have one thing left to say. Nobody really belives you about Stephen's personality, so please keep your opinions to yourself about him, as you are in fact breaking one of TV Forum's rules:
''you agree not to post material which is inaccurate and/or defamatory - don't say it if you can't prove it.''
i.e your own word isn't proving anything.

Ok but just because it's a BBC insider, doesn't mean it isn't a tvforum member. It still breaks the rule I quoted.

By 'exotic locations' I take it that you mean all those bars they shoot Click in. Click Online has a budget of round about £0, and gone are the days of flying off every week to a trade show here and an industry event there.

Very occasionaly Click are successful in bidding for some $$$ to go travel overseas, but there has to be a pretty good reason for it.

Umm, no he's not. He's not a World Service presenter. He *was* a BBC World (tv) presenter, but no more.

You don't have to be a presenter to be authorative. Besides, he is broadcast on World frequently.
