I suspect any outdoor sequences will be kept to the essential, rather than window dressing. The events in Westminster, Manchester, London Bridge and Borough Market are far too close and hosting such window dressing would be providing a target which would add to the security presence needed.
Can anyone clarify this - I am now watching the ITV Evening News and they seem to be in their usual green screen studio set up. So where is the ITV Election Night results programme coming from? It can't be the same studio can it?
I saw a promo last night of Tom in the election studio, same layout of the 2015 election and 2016 referendum results set, so does this mean the Evening News and ITV News London have moved into another studio at ITN for today and tomorrow?
The promo suggests the election set is up and running so it must be in a separate studio to the national news/London news?
Maybe these 300 'Sky Cameras' are mobile phone cameras - all those sim cards the bought a while back
They are cheap video cameras with HDMI outputs going into bonded 3G/4G links (like WMTs or LiveUs)
You also don't need to be in 300 locations or have 300 'cameras' to be able to view the counts at 300 constituencies. In many cities and large conurbations, the counts take place at a central location, so you would only need one camera to cover possibly 4 or 5 results.

Yes it is, but I dare say the election if coming from the Other side, IE London news studio..
Yes, ITV national and London news are all in one studio, Studio 1 is that right? So I assume as soon as Evening News finishes, they will use the next near three hour period to reconfigure the set using all of Studio 1, as I remember from the referendum results and 2015 election they had two desk areas.
