Why Was my post deleted? Does pointing out lies by a leader and the host failing to hightlight said point not count? It still bad enough the media Espeical tv deals with certain fake facts and passed them off as true....

That was due to be hosted by Jo Coburn, who I'm not familar with at all.

Daily Politics presenter, ex Breakfast political correspondent. Would imagine she would have been a pretty safe pair of hands on something like this.

It says on the EPG listing Fox News is going to be "unavailable due to reporting restrictions around the general election" from 5am to 11pm UK times on Thursday. I don't think this happened in the 2015 election... or did it?

5 until 11 seems strange - don't polls close at 10pm?

Yeah, it's open from 7am until 10pm.

I believe it's also the case that the "media blackout" kicks in at 00:30 BST on polling day, which makes the 5am start even more strange.

Ofcom Broadcasting Code
Section Six: Elections and Referendums

Quote:
6.4 Discussion and analysis of election and referendum issues must finish when the
poll opens. (This refers to the opening of actual polling stations. This rule does
not apply to any poll conducted entirely by post.) BBC ODPS are not required
to remove archive content for the period when the polls are open.

6.5 Broadcasters may not publish the results of any opinion poll on polling day
itself until the election or referendum poll closes. (For European Parliamentary
elections, this applies until all polls throughout the European Union have
closed.)

I knew I hadn't imagined reading it somewhere. It's the BBC who self-impose a 00:30-22:00 blackout.
