This Ch4/sky programmes has been the best Debate of the whole line up.

Paxman was very good, he really made TM and JC squirm, apart from the Sky production issue at 9.30pm it was a good program.

Paxman was awful with Corbyn - concentrated far too much on comments he made decades ago rather than current policy. He was far less agressive with May and concentrated purely on the manifesto and Mays recent history.

With the Andrew Neil interviews now being aired all over the shop, what has happened to the BBC Wales programmes that we're going to incorporate them into an hour long programme?

I don't know what debate you were watching, but the one I saw, he held both leaders to account on personal views on things like Brexit and migration (TM) and the IRA (JC) and party policies and manifestos.

I thought Paxman was very much on form, with his manerisms, questioning and quips.

I think Paxman asked what swing voters would like to know, Corbyn past, and may remain and u tunes

I thought there were opting out of The one show like Scotland all this week?

There is a ridiculous amount of election programming this week on the BBC. The main debate and 3 episodes of Question Time, not to mention the interviews and anything that may be happening in the nations. Even the most politics hungry viewer may be tired by the time Sturgeon and Farron walk on stage on Sunday.

The debate should maybe have aired last week (although of course due to events it wouldn't have actually aired) and maybe the 3 Question Times reduced in number.

Naturally the focus on May will be more current - she has been Prime Minister and has a record to defend.

The Battle for Number 10 is a good programme although for me it felt like Paxman was overplaying what Paxman is known for.

Does anyone know the background for teaming up with Channel 4 for 2015 and this year? C4 is rarely mentioned on Sky News. One assumes its solely to get more exposure via the main channels.

It works for both broadcasters I imagine. Sky have the facilities, C4 has public service commitment and the audience. Both can gain from the programme. Has anyone checked the overnight ratings?

That rating for C4 is actually really good. Nearly another 500k on Sky News as well.
