Thanks Drew.

The close-up of the interviewee provides a nicely framed live back drop of Parliament, and the addition of just 3 elements in the set makes quite a strong reinforcement of the BBC Election brand.

The order in the title sequence of party leaders seems to match the national vote share of parties in descending order from the last election: May, Corbyn, Nutall, Farron & Sturgeon (although only Sturgeon was actually a party leader in 2010).

The last election was 2015...Sturgeon wasn't a party leader in 2010.

At least it is just a member of a single forum getting a name wrong. No politician would do that!

My bad! Embarassed I did mean 2015. I won't edit my original post as there have been a few responses. My apologies for not proof-reading before hitting the 'submit button'. Rolling Eyes

EDIT: The point I was trying to make is that it matched vote share rather than seats won, which would have been quite a different order.

My guess would be Westminster Tower.

More specifically, Westminster Live, Studio A. (I recognised the view, just but didn't know that was the name of the building they're in)

EastEnders getting bumped to BBC2 in Wales on Tuesday and Thursday. BBC Wales have repackaged the Andrew Neil interviews into hour long programmes which begin with the interview then are followed up with a live Q&A session with the relevant Welsh party leader, except on Thursday where they begin with a live Q&A with the Plaid Cymru leader and follow it up with a broadcast of the interview with Nicola Sturgeon, which effectively means Plaid Cymru get half as much time as their competitors in Wales thanks to an interview being aired with a party not represented in Wales.

Just pretend Sturgeon is Natalie Wood and substitute the words 'Scotland' with 'Wales'.

Seems a bizarre set up, does the rules of impartiality extend as far as having to air the SNP interview in Wales?

In Wales they are showing the PEBs after the interview programme, at 19:55, rather than after the news, at 18:55.

Her name is Leanne...
Natalie (Bennet) was the former Green party leader, another party with similar policies in most areas (which is why I personally don't think Plaid, SNP and the Greens should all have a place in the debates when in reality they are different names for the same thing in different parts of the UK).
