South Today - Breakfast bulletins

Did anyone see the new plans for the Breakfast bulletins of South Today this morning? Did any other region reveal the new look for Monday?

One thing though, am I right in thinking that the graphics due to be used from Monday onwards are very similar to the ones used between 0600 and 0700 on Breakfast in its early days? Still, I think they look pretty good - very informative.

Does anyone know if this graphics scheme will also be on the national Breakfast (i.e the main show from London)?

I take it South Today are introducing what is often refered to here and only here as "Kay's Breakfast System" with on screen news, travel and weather?

It was first introduced on Midlands Today ages ago but many other regions including Look North also use a similar system, although Look North downgraded their version for some reason

katherine would have you believe look hull is the epitome of innovation, but i think we ought to recognise the innovation that is kay’s midlands breakfast system.

it was first developed by bbc midlands, who then helped other regions introduce it.
