It didn't help when there was a TV programme called Network East

Bang on. By Monday SE was proudly showing off its generic animated backdrop. They're still working in a cupboard though.

Yeah, Fred & Debbie were sitting in front of an animated backdrop too. I hope they have city backgrounds in due course (i.e. West: Reading, Salisbury etc. South: Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Brighton etc. South East: Brighton, Maidstone, Leeds Castle). Smile It would certainly brighten the place up. Very Happy

Yep - Leeds Castle is indeed in Kent, and nowhere near Leeds.

Yep - Leeds Castle is indeed in Kent, and nowhere near Leeds.


It is near a village called Leeds (sorry to be pedantic).

Watching the telly
When did South Today go for completely red titles? i.e. replacing the yellow bit with a lighter red than the main background. Can somebody get any caps? Cheers!
