I'll probably get shot for starting a thread like this but anyway...
I was watching the 1.30pm regional bulletin from South East Today when it was time for the weather. The weathergirl (Natalie) looked heavily pregnant and I thought she was in danger of giving birth on air. Half way through the weather report she started to experience shortness of breath (which having just watched dear old Anna Ford - it wasn't a major thing
). However, later on she paused and it became clear she was experiencing stomach cramps. Bending down, dropping her 'clicker' on the floor she had to pass back to the newsreader (Ceri) who - instead of filling time - immediately ended the programme, leaving us with 2 mins of regional promotions (Inside Out/Local Radio etc).
Anyway, I do feel sorry for the poor girl and surely she should have taken maternity leave earlier...?
