There are copyright restrictions on the images of the World Cup, something like the BBC only pays to broadcast footage from the competition on TV but not online. Odd as the games are screened online anyway :S

This also happens during the Commonwealths and Olympics.

I think I'm right in believing that the BBC's news bulletins are viewable worldwide, and that their World Cup streaming is cunningly restricted to UK users only. That's the most logical thing in my mind, given that matches are streamed online as it is.

I don't know where else to put this, but a little round disc has appeared on the stage area in the last few days, which you can just about make out on this picture. Is this meant to be there, or has it just been left lying there?
