Sophie does her last 6 0 clock news on Friday 28th October, she is going on maternity leave and the baby is due next month.
The good news is that Sophie will be back later next year and on the six.

Actually, she proved herself to be better on the usual bulletins rather than Breakfast. She occasionally does weekend bulletins and seems more "at home".

Yeah, they never made any of this fuss when Sian took over the Six last year during Sophie's first maternity leave.

Is this only her second one? It feels like her third disappearance already.
