Where did you hear this rumour.

Further back in the thread.

I hope she is, even if it is just to do Fridays. I wouldn't be too shocked if it is true.

It is just one date - Monday 20th - I will eat my words if she becomes a regular fixture. And i would be shocked if it is true for a regular comeback - she did the Six in the 1990's and was then demoted to N24 - I doubt she would come back to that slot - much as I would like her to.

Well according to the Radio Times Sian is down to do the six then, but they do sometimes get it wrong.
Incidently Sian has now been working for almost nine months, without one week off.

Well, it is possible, I did a shop job once for just over a year without ever having more then two days off in a row, and I'm sure there are other people in the world who have done a lot worse.
But I agree that in the world of newscasting this is quite rare, especially if they are not doing some other programme/project.

No, Sian's not back on Breakfast yet, and isn't scheduled to be during the Christmas period (according to Radio Times).

Jane Hill was very good.

I am reliably informed that the mystery face is indeed Moira Stuart, behind the Six Newsdesk with Bill Turnip!

Please someone set the video.

I thought Martyn Lewis was one of the best newsreaders during the virtual era. Far better than some of the presenters on the news now.

I don't see what the problem is - they are both good presenters, and Moira is well - known and liked. I am certainly looking forward to the event ..... , if it is true.
