If I recall Sophie did the One yesterday (could be wrong) and then Sian presented the Six.

No - Darren did the one yesterday. Sophie did the One and Six last Thursday and Friday and will probably again today. - Why would Moira be doing the Six anyway?

What I posted previously was NOT a lie, but was based on information I was given from someone close to the action. FACT. I am rather offended by your comments above, and I feel that for me to be given my marching orders because I posted a credible piece of information from what I have so far found to be a reliable and accurate source, is wrong and somewhat wide of the mark.

After all, I thought that rumours and gossip and inside information was "partially" (and within the confines of legality and libel, etc) what this forum was all about???

I am sorry to disappoint you, if you are perhaps considering that I am another bored teenager who has nothing better to do. That actually couldn't be farther from reality.

And could you perhaps - in the interests of a balanced view - tell everyone else reading exactly WHY I should be given my marching orders? Because Moira did not present a news bulletin???

Please..........

Well, I'm not quite sure what to say about this and I don't fancy getting into a slanging match. It's something I've never done here before and I don't want to do now.

I apologise for my comments in that they were a bit harsh, and you are entirely fair when you suggest that I was jumping to conclusions too quickly.

As I said at the time, I wasn't especially interested in whether Moira read the 6 or not. I suppose I'm just annoyed at the many people on this forum who seem to be "bored teenagers with nothing better to do" (like some whose names I will not mention, but including one who is mentioned just a couple of posts back) who make ridiculous comments for no good reason other than to rile other forum members.

Anyhow, I retract my comments entirely. I am sorry.

Turnbull and Williams,

Very galant of you to apologise, I of course accept and also apologise if my reply seemed a bit harsh. Wasn't intended.

I wish you the very best for Christmas. I will actually be in the UK for one day only on Christmas Day, so will be able to watch your namesake in action on Breakfast on 25th morning.

Very best regards,
James

...mentions your name? Erm I don't see the name 'SouthWales' mentioned in the post. You are obviously assumig that you fit that description. To an extend your post is rather ironic, in that appears that YOU are trying to 'slag' off T & W.

Is there any need to swear in a post? No
Does swearing help support your point? No
Does swearing just say more about you than the preson it is aimed at? Yes

well wasnt Sophie excellent at presenting on Boxing Day - she really is developing gravitas that both Natasha and Fiona do not have ( although i might add i do think they are good - its just that Sian woman I dont like ! )

If its true gravitas you want, then there is no one out there who can beat BIG MOIRA

So I assume that if these changes do not take place sophie remains on the six and remains queen ?

I like Sophie, but she's not the Queen of BBC News. That belongs to Moira. Once Moira levaes / retires (which I hope she doesn't) then the Queen of BBC News will be the lovely Fiona Bruce. Very Happy
