I have no issue with how the story was covered, at the end of the day, a human being died on a football pitch while doing his job.
IMO Sky Sports News handled it very well without going into full-blown 'Diana' mode, but at the same time showed respect for someone who was obviously well-liked player.
All they did differently was cut the music into the programme and show the obit caption, which is standard fare when anyone in the sporting world passes away.
As for the Pakistan situation. yes that is much more important situation, however you are unlikely to see Colin Brazier pop up on Sky SPORTS News.

July 7th 2005 ISTR pretty well, they ran a ticker at the bottom of the screen telling viewers what had happened and to switch to Sky News, I think it got the occassional mention too. Other than that they got on with it, which is what they usually (and should) do.
