Why would they use that? Surely that'd only be appropriate when covering political stories.

If I am correct, I think the live feed from Westminster will only be used when they are covering PMQ's etc

Interestingly too, from the graphics, Sky News will use a 24-hour clock for the first time its history.

If the mock-ups used on the pdfs are correct, they're making use of the whole width of the screen with a "sky.com" in the bottom left corner, cut off on a 4:3 screen.

I think that may just be part of the ticker scroll.

Not keen on the idea of the ticker scrolling behind the DOG, or a full width ticker. Would much prefer the ticker in its own box, right of the DOG.
