Sky News Thread - Relaunch on Monday

I'm just wondering how you two have seen the new set? (Not that I doubt your claims, of course).

After lurking here for over a year, I've never got the impression either of you work for Sky- do you just have friends in useful places or have I missed something?

Martin, why when I said a lot of white, did you do a blue strap?

The main strap is rectangular and white, the left hand edge has the new globe fading out, the far right is simply solid white fading out.

Come on Martin get the crayons out again! The white one's there... in the bottom of your tray!

With your previous comments, I thought you said there would be lots of blue and lots of white.

Will blue feature on the new logo/straps at all. It would seem that red and white are taking over. I wonder how Breaking News straps will stand out when something does happen?

It definately sounds intersting and different to what they've done before.
Could the globe be animated I wonder?

From what I have heard , it isnt , but I thought I should say it just in case

I don't expect it will, the only thing Five and Sky News share graphics wise is the weather.
