It doesnt say anything more than what I posted, so you're not missing anything.

I don't know why you think you wouldn't be allowed, Martin. Sky have chosen to put it in the public domain with no password access, etc.

If you're that interested, it's www.skyprogrammeinformation.co.uk and the Sky News October highlights.

But, as Martin says, that really is all there is on there related to the relaunch.

I thought you had to register for updates to gain access, i know the same content is on the Sky Media site, and that requires a logon...

Is it just me, or is the impression from that picture that Sunrise is going to be branded as "Sunrise with Eamon Holmes"?

They do seem quite proud about their bit of poaching.

Erm not really, the picture is of Eamon and Lorna. From what I have read, they will both be co-presenters, not a case of Eamon with Lorna .

I've never really been a big fan of Lorna and was somewhat surprised at her staying on Sunrise, but after watching her recently I'm really impressed and reckon she could go the same was as her predecessors Natasha Kaplinsky and Kate Garraway (although maybe not Emma Crosby - I think her move to presenting the odd shift here and there is an admittance that she wasn't the best choice in the world to present Sunrise).

Anyway ho-hum, let's hope it's not all a let down.

As long as there are no makeovers or fashion news or an emphasis on celebrity, then I hope new look Sunrise will be a success. I think a softer than present format is needed, like back in 97, brighter graphics, and would it kill them to have an interview or two in their new soft set...

There's a reference to a revamp for Sky's weather in an interview with Francis Wilson in today's Media Guardian:

And we will outsmart them again as we prepare to unveil our new technology.

I'm assuming, though may be entirely wrong, that Sky will go for an all VR weather map, with a presenter actually walking across the map of the UK and being 'amongst' the weather. As I say, just an assumption, but I know the new news centre was supposed have a big VR area in it for such presentations.

Either way, nice to hear it confirmed that they're ditching the existing look!
