October was suggest on page 42. These things often get put back, the London bombings may have had something to do with this.

is there something missing on the sky news pod today.... a screen has been moved? you can see the lit up blue fence around it... which isnt usualy seen on-air from the pod camera

Friend of mine in the industry tells me they have a few bugs in the systems at the new HQ which means you have to preview all vt from the hard drive to make sure it plays before you can use it on air. Thats fine for Five News but not a rolling news channel that throw stuff on air as soon as it's edited, if not "as live"

This is the only thing thats stopping them now, so as soon as it's fixed they will firm up a date for the new 16:9 Sky News

If you insist on copying and pasting other people's messages from Digital Spy, it would be nice to attribute them.

Never heard so much bull... ok let the thread continue, dont want the Sky News thread to be closed... Can anybody confirm that something has been moved off the Sky News pod, a screen or something...
