Interesting to see Colin Brazier on Sky News the other day. Wander if he'll have a role in the relaunch, which according to the other forums, looks like launching on Monday September 12. Razz

Bit odd seeing him on there today, especially as he is presenting alongside another bloke.

He is very boring to watch. I know he's new to presenting but there is no intonation in his voice, it sounds so incredibly flat.

Of course, this is his punishment for violently assaulting a colleague, isn't it? Dragged back from Brussels, supposedly as a reprimand, and lands a job presenting in the election campaign and now on the mainstream bulletins.

Bit worrying, that. It really is a fight to get to the top at Sky.

Yes, I noticed that there were - unusually - two blokes presenting on Sky News the other night too, as opposed to the usual male and female pairing.

Not sure who the other guy was who was presenting alongside David Foster, but it wasn't Brazier. Whoever he was, he was drastically boring and dull and monotonous.

There was no announcement of the newscasters' names at the top of the bulletin either - just an announcement that "This is Sky News".

I did wonder. By that logic Frank Partridge should be presenting Sky News Today by now...

Frank Partridge was executed..I mean sacked because he slapped the delicate and non-provocative Kay Burley.

and he has since been convicted of hitting his former partner.

If your referring to last Thursday then it was Colin.

No, think it was Saturday actually. Late shift. Although, I could be - and probably am - wrong.

Anyone else seen the promos running on Sky News for a new
programme, Sky World?
It starts next Monday, and runs from 4am to 6am!
They seem to be offering a round-up of world news, business and showbiz.
I guess as they are broadcast around the world, they know that lots of people in Asia, Africa, Australia, even America, will be watching ???
