I've gotta say, Steve Dixon truly is fab. I didn't really like him not so long ago... well I didn't dislike him, but I thought that as he's pretty young he'd probably be bland so never really paid much attention to him. From reading his site, I reckon he's as much as a saddo... I mean enthusiast as we are. Anyone know if he reads or even posts here?

Yup. He's the one who introduced the the other presenters to forum land. As did Allan King, both of them are frequent visitors here. How else could we have become acquainted with 'Luvvie Cam'?

Interesting to see that Martin Stanford is now in Santa Maria. Sky must be preparing for extensive coverage of the verdict in the Jackson Trial.

What sort of time scale do we think are looking at for a verdict to be made? Sky obviously think its coming within a couple of days, and I have to agree with them. Alot of the media is suggesting it could be quite a long wait, but from the reconstructions and testemonies ive seen and read, Id expect the jurors to have made up their minds during the summing up process. Would an announcement be made over the weekend, or would we have to wait until monday now at the earliest?

My understanding is that the jury is NOT deliberating over the weekend... so the earliest now is about 5pm Monday.

My guess is that he will be convicted on giving alcohol to a minor but accquitted on the molestation charges.

Stange appearances on Sky this week. No Anna Botting. No Mark Longhurst. No Kay Burley (one day). No Martin (someone just explained above why).

Seems to have been a lot of fill-ins with (without disrespect) secondary anchors.

Don't forget that quite a bit of time is going to be needed for rehearsals in the new studio, so I guess we will be seeing a lot of 'fill-ins' over the next couple of months.

Lisa Aziz is to leave Sky News for ITV West regional news - surely this must be a backward step in terms of her career? Confused

Well it says she has two children who live in the Westcountry, so surely the main reason will be because she wants to spend more time with them? Whatever the reason, its a shame shes going - I always enjoy the Lisa and Allen King double act, especially during the paper reviews.
