[QUOTE]So much for Steve Dixon presenting Monday to Friday, on Sunrise[QUOTE]

Like on GMTV and Sunrise at the mo I would Imagine presenting duties will be shared between 4 or five people

He is doing a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire theatre tour starting in July, not sure how long it lasts though.

As worried as I am about their choice of presenter (cant stand the man) I imagine he would be sitting on the sofa of a soft set presenting the Sunrise features and soft interviews, while the NewsPerson will do the serious stuff.

Considering his parting shot from GMTV was that there wasn't enough serious journalism there, I don't think that's going to be the case at all. He certainly wasn't Mr Soft Interview when he first started at GMTV.

indeed, it seems that Eamonn Holmes has been damned by association due to the editorial position of GMTV. I personally think his Five Live show is a decent listen - will he continue with that, I wonder?

That would make sense - then you would have a 3 hour slot for Sky News Today or just general Sky News before Kay's show.

Can't believe that Eamonn is gonna be joining Sky though Razz

To be fair, Steve Dixon's website does say he will present Sunrise full time from early June and from the rumours we had linked this to the June/July relaunch, but it now looks like he will only present until the Autumn when Eamonn joins and the relaunch happens....

We should also bear in mind that Eamonn doesn't work over the summer! Therefore I'm assuming that a September relaunch is now inevitable.

Reminds me a bit of when Selina Scott joined Sunrise back in the early 90s. Then Francis Wilson came on board.. wonder if we will see one of the GMTV weather presenters following Laughing
