Kay Burley has an interview in today's Indy.

Did you see the picture that accompanies the print version?! Confused

Yep - it only added to the slightly disturbing comedy value - not what you'd expect someone to be doing, if they want to be taken seriously as a journalist.

I take it that nobody watched that politics and sex programme she was presenting on Monday?

THAT IS A DOWN RIGHT LIE - I watched it, and if thet is what Sky News are planning for a regular weekly documentary slot, I am looking forward to it. It had its chav moments, but the rest was cool.

Could the Sky News logo/background that is used as the desktop for the Sky News computer shown in the newsroom on Sky News Today be an indication for the new idents.

I dont have a screenshot but it is the normal Sky News logo but with the edges highlighted more and the blue background exactly the same as used on the Sky Sports idents.

Just like http://skynewscentre.co.uk/sports/images/idents/2004/12.jpg
from the Sky Sports Centre website but with a Sky News logo instead of Sky Sports Extra and the same shiny edges of the logo.

Oh I konw, they have once shown one off the desktop wallpaper section on the "Sky News Centre" site. the one used today, is too much like the current look i think.

This is the wallpaper:

This wallpaper was designed by Lee S for SkyNewsCentre.co.uk, Sky News have taken it from the site. With that said we'll probably not see it on Sky News anymore.

Sheesh, don't give yourself an anurism.

I only asked since nobody has passed comment on the show, and people are usually pretty good at mentioning Sky News connected things in Sky News threads (like the Indy article) if they've come across them.

No need to be rude, thank you.

Fox News' Orlando Salines is on at the moment.

He's in Baghdad, for some reason.

Some classic quotes

"I've heard from some soldiers, from their mouth to my ear"

"A lot of people call these people homicide bombers"

"These aren't insurgents, they're terrorists"

EDIT: Another one... "You talk about soft targets - I hate that word - when you say soft targets, you really mean innocent Iraqis"

Super.

Sorry I missed it. I haven't seen the entertaining Mr Salinas for a while. He never fails to amaze me.
