It's going to be exactly like the Sky Sports Infobar which animates in a similar fashion.
Hmm. Looking at the video I see you're right. The logo and clock look nice, and neatly placed onto the ticker bar or whatever it's called. Also, good to see that the ticker (which I never really read anyway - I find them a waste of time, but I guess we'll always have them) is now in upper and lower case in the correct places. Maybe MDTA could learn something from that.
It leaves the question though - what are they going to do with the top left (where the Sky News logo and clock are at the moment)? Use it for flashy 'LIVE' or 'Breaking News' graphics, and perhaps and leave it clean for the rest of the time? I hope they are clearing out the screen clutter. I'd switch from N24 permanently if they are going to.
So, we still don't know what happens when news breaks, do we? I hope they keep the effect they have on the newswall at the moment. It's very effective, in my honest opinion.
I think I'll phone in to say that my dog has eaten some mad cow and died of bird flu in the hope they'll get the breaking news graphics out.

What did you mean by that, I am not responsible for the graphics on sky!

I'm aware of that. I don't want to get into a slagging match, but you do use upper and lower cases/capital letters at random throughout your posts.
Unless you are referring to God (if you believe in Him, Her or It), there would be no other reason to capitalise things like "Your Opinons". Capital letters are (in general) only ever really required at the start of sentences or if you are giving names of people or organisations. Otherwise, it just looks pompous. That's all I'm going to say on the matter.

Oh do shut up! This is TV Forum not Punctuation Forum!

Speaking Of Inappropriate Capitalisation, I Wonder If The New Version Of The Sky News Website Will Stop Having The Headlines Written Like This?
