Excellent it will be nice to see a Sky Sports style graphic appear on Sky News.

Anyway can I ask what are Sky going to do with the original Sky News set, are they going to make it into extra studios, or will it remain a newsroom gathering area?

Also how far is this new Sky News studio to the old one, I presume it's nearby and just a short walk away.

Thanks,

harshy

There has been some speculation that Sky Sports News are going to get it.

I remember somewhere, I can't remember if it was in TV Forum, that Sky Sports News were going to move into that studio, is this going to happen?

Yes I read that at the time that Sky Sports News would move in, so it's not confirmed I guess.

The rumours surrounding Sky Sports getting the old Sky News site revolve around the fact that Sky Sports lost out in the bidding for the new studio building.

I find it a bit silly to have Sky News 2, what will go on it if there ever was one? Maybe its just an error of some sorts, or perhaps making sure Sky News is kept different to Sky News Ireland in that press release.
