Blimey doesn't she look good - a change of hair has done the world of good. Don't think poor old Viv deserves to be compared to Kay Burley's mother though....I imagine Burley's mum would be rather frosty and pout like her daughter. Something Viv certainly doesn't do.

Dont you mean, change of wig Laughing All those years

Looks Good if it is! I wander where she purchased it! Smile

Looks like Sky News will launch its new studio in June.

Taken from MediaGuardian:

Sky News has signalled its intent to compete more strongly for scoops by hiring a former Newsnight and Tonight with Trevor McDonald producer with a track record in securing exclusive interviews.
Gideon Joseph will join Sky News in June as an executive producer with a brief to secure "big interviews and exclusive features", according to the head of Sky News, Nick Pollard.

Mr Joseph will arrive at Sky News just as it relaunches following the general election . The service will move to a new studio and Mr Pollard has promised to replace rolling news in the evening schedule with more long-form programming.

Fans of Bob Friend - remember he's co-presenting The Evening Report on LBC News 1152 (weekdays 4-7) between now and the end of next week.

Steve Dixon's got his own site up at stevedixon.biz with some good pics of the Sky Centre (including the new building - well, the outside anyway!) and other bits and pieces.

To back up the mention of June above, he mentions that's when he'll start presenting Sunrise every weekday. Also says he'll be presenting 10am to 5pm on election day.

Very interesting quote from the man himself:
Quote:
The forthcoming election itself is going to be great. We have a new studio for the main programme, which will be hosted by Adam Boulton and Julie Etchingham, as well as an entirely virtual set which Martin Stanford will use.

Certainly suggests the programme is coming from the new Sky News building.

Also interestingly, Steve mentions on his website that he will be presenting Sunrise weekdays from June.

Could this suggest a lineup change come the relaunch expected in June?

Does Greg Milam still present Sunrise at the moment?

Greg's currently reporting on the election campaign with the Lib Dems but apart from that he has been yeah...
