1-5 pm is on YouTube.

Seems a bit silly that they only ran it during working hours - lots of people who actually have to work had no chance of seeing it and putting only half of it on YouTube is disappointing too

I was hoping they would have put the whole thing on youtube from the start... I wanted to see behind the scenes of Sunrise, but similarly was in work at the time!

The recording of 1pm to 5pm was automatically published by YouTube using its 4 hour timeshift of the live stream. Either someone forgot to untick the box to turn automatic publishing off, or they left it on thinking it'll do the whole day.

I recorded it all on Sky Q when the channel appeared on the EPG. Can watch at my leisure ☺️

Funnily enough they decided that airing live footage of their staff working was best during working hours. Even in a 24/7 environment I suspect 9-5 is very much a key time for a 24 hour news channel, probably more so than those working towards the evening bulletins.

9-5 is hardly a typical working day in a newsroom though?

Something that I found interesting was that Gallery 21 can also control the studio at Millbank. Can the Millbank studio floor work into a gallery on-site as well as into Osterley? I recall an occasion when the previous studio failed (the sound mixer died?) and they decamped to Millbank, so presumably it has its own gallery too?
