Anna Botting staying on from midnight - is this a regular thing?

I have only seen the 9-12 presenter stay on past midnight a few times which is usually for breaking news or if the overnight presenter is late, They used to stay on until 00:30 though when they only did 10-12, I expect at 00:30 they will have the overnight presenter take over

I assume Anna has stayed on tonight to cover the North Korea rocket launch

Is it not due to the North Korea rocket story.

Someone I have never seen before on at 1am, No voice over or name graphic used, Anyone know who she is?

The overnight presenter referred to above was Charlotte Lomas Farley - formerly of Russia Today, I think.

Anyone got any ideas what Philippa Tomson's (Tyne Tees and Border Weather/ News Presenter) role will be at Sky?

Have Sky dropped some more reporters on the quiet? Simon Newton popped up on BFBS' The Week in Afghanistan on Sunday (it seems to be where all the ex-Sky News presenters/reporters end up) and his twitter page @skynewsnewton no longer works.

And what about reporters like michelle may or lucy mc donald or sara merchant? Haven't seen them for ages.

His twitter handle is now @journonewts and his biog says he is a freelancer and reports from Afghanistan for BFBS, as well as reporting for Sky

Lucy McDonald and Jane Witherspoon were let go at Christmas.
