The site outside does have the ficilities for autocue, so I'm pretty sure he does read from the autocue, as does any other reporter reading from there.
That image is from the elections, when Sky were presenting outside Parliament. The only person using an autocue there is Kay Burley.

You say this; but where exactly is Adam Boulton's autocue in the above shot. His camera is a standard one, without autocue.
The usual setup for outside at Westminster is with a standard camera, no autocue. This I witnessed first hand on a walk through Milbank. The standard practice for a reporter is exactly the opposite of what you have stated; they don't use autocues.
This is when the then programmes were based on location for the elections, which would warrant the need for the autocue.
Yes the autocues in Westminster/Central London are only used for Bolton and Co, Murnaghan and other presentational programs from the studio. Reporters and Correspondents do NOT use the autocue.
Kay Burley and Chris Bryant round 3 just before the top of the hour, she had to cut him off at :56, adding 'I'm sure you'll interpret that however you like'
Rather enjoyable moment from Kay Burley this afternoon.
Chris Bryant MP did his usual (pathetic) attempt at winding her up, claiming she was biased etc etc. She managed to ignore it, up until they got to :56 minutes past the hour when the breaks automatically cut in and she said something along the lines of 'I'm afraid I have to cut you off, you can interpret that whatever way you want'
Edit: Beaten to it. I'm biased as I think Burley gets a hard time and can't stand Bryant but I thought she won this 'round'.

I saw it happen live, but just want to see it again - call upon a youtube link!
I'll be honest, I was originally watching the BBC News channel and noticed he popped up from their Westminster studio about another subject, Immigration, but the BBC chose to talk to him - understandably about his reaction to James Murdoch resigning. I knew it was only a matter of time before Sky News pulled him in for a chat. I flicked over in anticipation of a Burley vs Bryant match. I feel sorry for Kay, she must gulp when she hears in her talkback 'O/B interview with Chris Bryant, Kay'.

I wonder if Jeff Randall will make it through his show with no voice.
Edit: Not very long it would seem, 10 minutes in he wasn't able to do the complete coming up sequence before he had no voice and it was faded out into the ads.
Philippa Thompson from ITV Tyne Tees has confirmed on twitter that she is joining Sky News. Any idea what role she will be taking on?
Well, she's a news and weather presenter, so she could be joining either of Sky's teams. Is Isobel Lang/Naz leaving maybe? If not, she could just be joining to bump up the weather staff... unless in-vision weather updates are coming back?
