That's rather ironic, having Kay Burley and the "P" word used in the same sentence.

Yes, it is. Kay Burley is a wonderful woman.

Its funny how now I got used to watching Sky News in HD, I have stopped watching it again. Im back to watching Fox again now. I find Sky very dull in comparison.

metaphorical puke in my mouth.

I'd love to know what this metaphorical puke you keep mentioning is.

Don't encourage him. Please. Out of courtesy, I suggested to Danslink that he shouldn't split his infinitives because it changes entirely the meaning of the sentence but he wasn't very cooperative. In fact, he took umbrage at my suggestion and said that he would 'split his infinitives in future times'.

In other news, however, Danslink has been revealed as a Kay Burley fan

How are these people allowed on here? Isn't there some sort of vetting process that identifies them and prevents them from making such provocative statements? If that sort of thing had been said during the Raoul Moat story then I dread to think how quickly the site would have gone into meltdown. Out of interest, Danslink, why is Kay Burley a wonderful woman?

He's a 15 year old, which might explain some of his posts.

Yes, I am 15 years old, but my age shouldn't be a valid reason for my views. I am inclined to support the underdog, alas I have admiration for Kay Burley.

Bu I don't like Kay Burley so I am compleely contradicting the point as stated above. I'm more of a Claudia Winkleman person even though she isn't part of Sky News or any news.

In other news, who is the woman specie covering Kya this week? She's quite good.

I presume Kya is Kay?

It's Anna Jones who is covering for her this week

I think that says more about you than it does Sky News HD.

You mean "ergo", not "alas".

You should look up words you don't really understand. You don't want people to think you're foolish, do you?

You just hate the fact I'm not a typical teenager and don't use "txt spk". I actually hate this concept. I like to be adventurous with my vocabulary and I might not use it in the right format but better learning than regretting, "innit"?

I actually am very passionate about TV but because of my age, people on this forum are using this as a device against me. But I shall still post. I won't be pushed out.

I've only been here bearly a week, give me a chance?

In other happenings, I watched Sunrise for the first time this morning. Very different feel than to BBC Breakfast and GMTV. Less serious than Breakfast but still a rather bland programme. Charlotte Hawkins is an inconvenient spare part. She'd be better solo.

On the contrary I love a person (especially a young person) demonstrating a wide and rich vocabulary. More power to you.

But, as some gentle advice, look up those words you plan to use - just to be sure you're on the money.

Text speak is frowned upon by most here, myself included.

It makes me puke - figuratively speaking (not metaphorically).

See what I mean?
