Samantha seems to have started tweeting again.

I really think it's about time she was given her own show on the channel. She's been there for a good few years now and yet is still only used as a cover presenter!

Wonder who Stevie Dixon is referring to on his Twitter:

Just been reading a famous female presenters website who has being a sky news anchor top of her list of versatility...

She only did about five overnights as a trial and was biffed. The nerve of some people. Drives me mad.

And before you ask, im not saying who it is.....

Marverine Cole perhaps, her profile on Twitter and website says she was a Sky News anchor, and AFAIK she only did a few stints.

I have no idea who this lady is, but her website doesn't seem to suggest that she's the one referred to by Stephen Dixon. Her references to Sky News are not quite as blatant as suggested by Stephen.

Seems like its Caroline Feraday, who appeared on GMTV in the early 2000's. She lists Sky News in a 'versatile' category anyway Laughing

Saw Sam Washington, formerly of BBC News, on Afternoon Live earlier. Apparently she's been presenting all week whilst Joel Hills is away - seems to be a very competent presenter and knows a lot about the markets.
If she's not freelance I think she'd be a very good addition to the business team.

Agreed. I hadnt seen her before on the BBC but she seemed very good this afternoon. I wouldn't be surprised if they signed her up, they always seem to be making additions to the business team. With Darshini on maternity leave, I guess she may just be filling in.
