Is that her name? Saw earlier and not sure who she was. Thought she was awful personally. Condescending style of presentation and looks in pain

She's reporting in the studio right now as a 'Sky Correspondent' about child eating disorders - has she now left the Westminster bureau?
Rachel Younger is on now and I have to say she's excellent. Good at interviewing, keeps a good pace and is keeping things interesting. I knew she was a good correspondent, but she's a good anchor too - unlike a couple that come to mind... but that's for the BBC thread!

Granted, she has quite an awkward stance, and kept moving her face about quite a bit, but I didn't think she was that bad. But I do agree, Paula ought to have done that shift. NSW is one of may favourite formats but I'd imagine it would be very monotinous for a newsreader. Paula is quite lively, but I do notice that by 1645 she's a lot less lively than at 1400.

Is that a word, old chap? We really ought to only use meaningworthy words here on TVF, you know. (Only joking).
I have always liked Paula Middlehurst as a presenter. Steady and stable. The last time I saw her presenting anything other than the weekend news was during the General Election Campaign back in May 2010, when she appeared midweek to provide some election stats at the newswall. I think many of us would like to see her on midweek programming more often. But it's probably unlikely.
senseful

As you probably noticed from my writing behaviour , I am not an english native speaker,so I would like to apologise If I am using the wrong words or expressions ( but I know It's been a joke
)
But why do you think it is probably unlikely that paula returns to midweek programming?

No need to apologise, Phil. No worries at all. Only joking.
As for Paula returning to midweek presenting, I don't think so. I guess - since she has a family of young children - she probably prefers to work only at weekends, so it may suit her personally. However, that is just pure speculation on my part. I really have no idea!
Regardless, she still remains one of my favourite Sky news presenters.
Another of my favourites was Anjali Rao, who left Sky to join CNN. She has now subsequently left CNN as well. Not sure where she is, but I would personally like to see her joining the Sky News Abu Dhabi bureau.

My understanding is that the Abu Dhabi bureau will only be broadcasting programmes in Arabic on Sky News Arabia and I don't believe that Ms Rao's talents extend to speaking Arabic, so I fear that won't happen!

Emma Hurd reporting this week, first time since moving from South Africa to the Middle East correspondent role. Seems that the rotation of foreign correspondents has begun - also, Ian Woods is now introduced as Senior Correspondent.
Martin Stanford is presenting the standard Sky News in place of Jeff Randall Live. The silver lining in all this is that he now has 2 full hours of airtime, I guess.

but sadly from 7-8 pm it's news sports and weather in 15 minutes, every 15 minutes! It's not the sky news like jeremy presents.It seems confusingly from 6-7 normal skynews, from 7-8 Nsw 15 minutes and from 8-9 the 20/20 bulletin!
