I have to agree. He also has a good ability to spot when an interviewee is talking nonsense and move on quickly - earlier Ken Livingstone tried to turn the conversation into an attack on Boris Johnson, saying he was hard to get hold of and never does press conferences, and Stephen was quick to point out that Boris had been on the phone for a good ten minutes earlier in the evening.

can please anybody explain to me why andrew had the newsroom backdrop yesterday? which slot did he present? I didn't have the possibility to watch yesterday but I saw it on the top story bulletin and wad just wondering

I noticed that too, very softly spoken. Maybe its sound from the Westminster studio? unless shes speaking softly to keep a sore throat at bay or something...
Kay's voice sounds strange today, very mild.

Same here. Also, I think she was a bit bored in that Westminster studio. It's alright but all the walking, camera angles and space that was had on Afternoon Live would be better!

Kay did a good job this afternoon with the breaking news from Oslo, 1 thing I picked up on was when she was interviewing someone she said that the UK terror threat level had recently been raised before the interviewee corrected her
