Where has Sky's former China correspondent Peter Sharp gone to? He returned to London as a Senior correspondent for a short while but seems to have vanished from our screens. Anyone know what he's doing now?

Doesn't seem to have been taken down from the Sky News presenters site - he's still classed as a correspondent. Maybe he's taken on a more part-time role, like Keith Graves has in America?

Got to say, Andrew Wilson handled today's Live at Five very well - definitely better than the BBC, who had moved on from the NOTW story suprisingly. Very good pace, handled the conversations well and actually listened and engaged with interviewees' responses.

But from intense to relaxed, I think Lukwesa's great - very funny, very to-the-point, and very cool/calm not - as observed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmRt2P9TUiE - I'd say more than bollocks at 4am!!!

To me, Live At Five will always be Live at Five - certain other brands will come and go but "Live At Five" sounds good and hasn't changed much in the past few years. Also, it is quite clearly one of Sky news' flagship broadcasts so it ought to have remained Live At Five.

I agree, it was all part of the mess that was caused by the 'brand tightening' and 'let's copy the BBC News channel'.

Good to see Colin Brazier rebuking Tom Watson MP for implying that he and Sky News were 'under pressure' from Rupert Murdoch.

Agreed. Watson's comments were out of order. He had made some comments which required the presenter to interject for legal reasons.

Sky News has done an excellent job given the incredibly trying circumstances it's been under at the moment.

Did anyone capture the incident at all?

Crikey though, it really showed in her intro that she was pissed at something Confused

I think Colin did a very good job in that situation - as did the former Heritage Minister who was interviewed straight afterwards. It has become quite clear throughout this scandal that presenters at Sky News want to be seen as separate from News Corp and they have done a very good job at defending themselves and their organisation.
