I watched Jason Farrell on Sky News this morning with his garage scam investigation, I thought Richard Desmond pays his wages?

Why's that? He's a Sky News correspondent. If you're referring to the fact he was previously a Five News correspondent, Five News is still completely produced by Sky News for the time-being.

I assume the argument was that the likes of Kaplinsky, Crosby and Barbet are paid and hired by Five, not Sky News. I'd be very surprised if this was the case for correspondents, given their overlap.

He did do some reports for Sky News during the Pakistan floods and he reported during the Queensland flooding as well. So he probably was on Sky News' payroll, and not C5's.

Indeed, although C5 also pay for reporters/correspondents such as Catherine Jones, Peter Lane, Ruth Liptrot and Minnie Stephenson. The contract allows for Sky to use their reporters with their packages, which is why I asked if Jason Farrell was still on the C5 side.

Who did the overnights last night? Due to the Gaddafi air-strike, Stephen Dixon stayed until 0020 and then a Scottish woman with blonde hair and a red dress came on. At the top of the 0100 hour, they opened the show as if it was News, Sport, Weather, with no name Aston.

Asked if she is like any of the women in the book, Burley said: “There was one Cabinet minister who used to wine and dine me – and I must admit I did find his power quite attractive.”

Oh dear god.
